Dr. Erica Chartier
Dr. Erica Chartier was born and raised in Kenner, Louisiana and graduated from Grace King High School. She attended Louisiana State University earning her Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science. She continued her education earning her Master of Science degree in Calf Nutrition and Endocrinology in 2013, and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2018. Dr. Erica’s special interests as a veterinarian include emergency and critical care, internal medicine, and nutrition.
Dr. Erica resides in LaPlace with her two Greater Swiss Mountain Dogs, Mick and Kai, a rescued cat, Nala, a Thoroughbred, Porsche, and a rescued Pekin duck, Lafitte. When she is not at the hospital she enjoys riding horses and spending time with her animals. Dr. Erica is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and Louisiana Veterinary Medical Association.
