Dr. Jennifer Campbell - Veterinarian

${name}

Dr. Jennifer Campbell proudly serves at our Metairie location.

Dr. Campbell grew up in the New Orleans area and graduated from Archbishop Chapelle High School. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science from the Louisiana State University. She later graduated from Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2021.

Dr. Campbell is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and Louisiana Veterinary Medical Association. She enjoys general practice because she gets to work with all facets of health and is not limited to one area of medicine. She particularly enjoys the less commonly emphasized feline and small mammal medicine.

She lives in Old Jefferson with her cats: gray tabby Lana, tortoiseshell Lilly, and her cockatiel Sammy. Her dog Sadie, who just recently passed, was a big part of her inspiration to become a vet. Although Dr. Campbell always knew that she wanted to be a vet, she adopted Sadie at age nine and formed an unbreakable bond. Sadie was with her through Hurricane Katrina, grammar school, high school, undergrad, vet school, and her first few months of being a veterinarian. You can find pictures of Sadie in Dr. Campbell's exam room, where she will always be a part of her veterinary career and a reminder of how beautiful the human-animal bond is.
