Dr. Wendi Schumacher joined Pet Care Center team in February of 2011.
After graduating from the University of Missouri School of Veterinary Medicine in 2005, she relocated to Lubbock, Texas where she joined a small animal practice and met her husband Casey Schumacher. After practicing small animal and emergency medicine in Texas for 5 years, the Schumachers relocated to New Orleans in January of 2010. Shortly after moving to NOLA they welcomed their first child, Colton, in May of 2010.

Dr. Wendi and her family currently have 2 dogs, a male boxer named Ace and a Lhasa Apso - Dachshund mix named Liza Jane.
