Dr. Abby Braus Cefalu grew up in Morgan City, Louisiana and graduating from Central Catholic High School. She attended Louisiana State University and received her Bachelor of Science degree in animal science. Dr. Abby continued her education at LSU to receive her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degree. Her areas of interest include oncology, internal medicine, and critical care medicine. Dr. Abby resides in Metairie with her husband Dr.William Cefalu, and their dog Bella. In her free time, Dr. Abby enjoys spending time with family, baking for friends, and horseback riding. Dr. Abby is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Louisiana Veterinary Medical Association and the American Animal Hospital Association.
